Andrea & Mike

I'm back from the blogging dead! Seriously, i've been traveling so much the month of March that I haven't been home more than 2 consecutive days since... I don't remember when (I think maybe February 27, which was the start of my ridiculous travel schedule).

Andrea and Mike had mutual friends who swore they would be great together. After (and I quote) 'two of those big blue drinks at Saddle Ranch', a little flirtation ensued... which became even more with time, culminating in a fabulous wedding at the Mission Inn in Riverside this past Friday. In addition to their obvious delight in each other, Andrea and Mike both share a love of wine, and had a unified 'wine' theme - down to the wine barrel holding their cake! Their flowers and decor were also beautiful, done by a friend who is also a florist - and who coordinated everything from Nashville! Perhaps the wedding was so special because Brandon and I were married at the same location... or because Andrea is a friend of a very good friend of mine... but whatever the reason, this was the best. wedding. ever. I hope that you two are having fun in Hawaii!

A few pictures from the day:
Andrea's reaction when she saw herself all gussied up

Andrea and Mike came to the decision to see each other beforehand and do pictures then. I HIGHLY recommend it - we were able to get around the hotel with no time pressures and take tons of pictures!
Getting ready for their First Look - I thought Mike had brought a rose for Andrea (aww.. so sweet!). But it turned out that was really his boutonniere, and he just couldn't figure out how to put it on!

They dove in for a kiss before I could take a reaction picture!
Around the hotel:
The gorgeous chapel doors

Andrea's mom when she saw the two of them!
The first dance
After dinner, the DJ got going with awesome 70's/80's music, and Andrea and Mike and ALL of their friends hit the dance floor!

(there were so many beautiful details, I couldn't pick just one or two... so another post to come tomorrow!)
